Industry Canada Community Futures, various locations - co-facilitated community economic development (CED) training programme developed by the University of Guelph for Ontario Region Community Futures Programme Consultants and Managers. - Community Economic Development training to Board, Staff and community partners in Community Futures communities throughout southern and northern Ontario. The programme introduced CED concepts, tools and approaches to local economic development opportunities, resources, community partnerships, and priorities for community action. > results: 15 CF programme staff completed 10 day CED training programme. - CED training courses held in Kirkland Lake, Nippising/North Bay, Bruce County, Saugeen, North Simcoe, Haliburton, Muskoka-East Parry Sound, Parry Sound and Area, Dunnville/Haldimand, Sault Ste Marie, Georgian North Shore, Manitoulin Island, Nickel Belt, Kapuskasing, Orillia and Area, Peterborough, Georgina, and 12 South-Eastern 'Jobs Ontario Community Action' communities. |
